Welcome to the 2nd Annual Independence Triathlon that takes place on Independence Day Weekend. This event features a 500 meter pool swim in the amazing Nassau County Aquatics Center Pool, followed by a 3 loop, 6 mile bike ride on a closed course that takes your around the park and ends with a 2.25 mile relatively flat run through Eisenhower park on the running paths.
A portion of this year's race proceeds will be going to the Wounded Warrior Project to help support their efforts in helping our injured soldiers.
Join us for this year's race because we are going to have lots of schwag including a water bottle, Technical Running Shirt and lots of raffle prizes from Sunrise Tri Bike Shop, XTERRA Wetsuits, Fuel Belt, X-Streme Energy Drinks, Canon Cameras and Polar HR.
