Welcome to the 3rd Annual Independence Triathlon that now takes place on May 22, 2011. Please note the new date for this event. This event features a 500 meter pool swim in the amazing Nassau County Aquatics Center Pool, followed by a 3 loop, 6 mile bike ride on a closed course that takes you around the park and ends with a 2.25 mile relatively flat run through Eisenhower park on the running paths.
A portion of this year's race proceeds will be going to the Wounded Warrior Project to help support their efforts in helping our injured soldiers.
Join us for this year's race because we are going to have lots of schwag including a water bottle, Technical Running Shirt and lots of raffle prizes from Sunrise Tri Bike Shop, XTERRA Wetsuits, Fuel Belt, X-Streme Energy Drinks, Canon Cameras and Polar HR.
Come celebrate the Nation's Independence Day weekend with this fun and fast race.
