The Swim Course...

The 1/2 Mile Swim takes place in the Long Island Sound. Please note that the water temperature is usually between 67-71 degrees for this race. The swim is a Wave Start with Age Group Waves beginning at 7:00 AM. There will be Lifeguard Support on Kayaks, Jet Skis and boats. We will have the exit of the swim carpeted to prevent anyone from getting cut on the shells by the waters edge.

The Bike Course

The bike is a two loop 7.5 mile course through the town of Miller Place. The Direction of the course is counter clockwise.
Route:
Riders will make a Left out of the Cedar Beach Parking lot onto Harbor Beach Road. Stay on Harbor Beach Road.
Riders will make a RIGHT Turn on to Pipe Stave Hollow Road.
Stay on Pipe Stave Hollow Road and Cross over North Country Road.
Continue on Pipe Stave Hollow Road to Echo Avenue.
Make a LEFT on to Echo Avenue.
Stay on Echo Avenue all the way to Lower Rocky Point Road.
Make a Left on to Lower Rocky Point Road.
Make a Right on to North Country Road.
Make a Right on to Landing Road and stay on Landing as it merges into Harbor Beach Road.
Take Harbor Beach Road all the way back to the beach parking lot and make a U-Turn at the Park Booth.

2nd Loop

After completing the first loop of the bike course racers will make a U-turn at the park booth and head back out onto the same bike course.

Finish

After completing two loops you will head back to the Transition Area. Slow down when approaching the parking lot. Re-enter the parking lot by making a right at the entrance and dismount your bike at the dismount line.

The Run Course

The run course is a two loop 1.55 mile course along Cedar Beach. It's a flat and fast run, so get your legs ready. The first half of the loop is on a running path. After getting off the running path you will be running in a coned off section of the roadway. Please stay to the left of the cones in the alley designated for the run. The run course will have water, gatorade and gu at each stop. There are two aid stations on the run course.
